CITIES & MEMORY - 1 LEAVING THERE AND proceeding for three days toward the east, you reach Diomira, a city with sixty silver domes, bronze statues of all the gods, streets paved with less, a crystal theatre, a golden cock that crows each morning on a tower. All these beauties will already be familiar to the visors, who has seen them also in other cities. But the special quality of the city for the man who arrives there on a September evening, when the days are growing shorter and the multicolored lamps are lighted all at once at the doors of the food stalls and from a terrace a woman’s voice cries ooh!, is that he feels envy toward those who now believe they have once before lived an evening identical to this and who think they were happy, that time.

These collages and drawings overlap and repeat the styles, to merge some photographs from the “promenade architecturelle” to develop some ideas for 2.5 models, to lead to making of the objects.

My Experimenting was to do with lighting effects on my objects by lamp, to see the shadows and lighting surrounding my objects in the spaces.

Final… All the project I have been doing this as I pleased with my final object and I do like the way of I design and make this is as my character to show the meaning of my objects. If I have more time, I would to experiment with light in this object, but I am really pleased my final pieces to show the meaning and good effect of light at this objects and make good shadow from my object.

Documentation of the Construction   This shows the process to create my final furniture.   At firstly, I went to wood workshop to measure to cut out the shapes for my final objects and cut the gaps, to fit it together. When I completed cutting the shapes and gaps to fit, then I used sandpaper to smooth the gaps so they joints could fit well together, meanwhile I cut the shapes for top and with super glue stick fitted the top. I started to use PVA glue to make strong and avoid getting any damp or wetness of the wood of 3 mm thick. I started to paint on them as with different layers. I am really pleased with my final creation.
